You can write an application - like a desktop-based software or an iphone application- and integrate with Acadar using ExamConnect. Once your website is connected, users of your site can practice questions drawn from, or contribute questions to, Acadar Exambank from within your own website. In fact, a wall is created on your site where the core functionality of Acadar is made available. You earn a commission on all per-use revenues deriving from your site practice. To connect your site requires just a few steps:Registration and Integration

Registration

Before you integrate your website or application with Acadar using Acadar ExamConnect, you are required to first of all sign up as a user on Acadar. Registration is free.

Obtaining ExamConnect App Id and Secret

Once you are logged in, head to the ExamConnect page and obtain your App Id and Secret. Acadar ExamConnect is based on Oauth 1.0 protocol. What this means is that you will need a unique id and password for your application or website. These are what we refer to here as App Id(unique id which identifies your website or application) and Secret(unique password, sort of, which goes with the App Id of your application). Armed with these, you can get your developer to integrate your website or application. All communications to the site is authenticated through these.

Integration

Integrating your website or application is easy. Once you have the App Id and Secret, you get your developer get working with API. Detailed documentation are available in the Guide

Benefits

Through ExamConnect, ExamPlay and ExamPad becomes available within your application. Students preparing for their exams can use your website to practice for their exams. You earn commission on revenues. Visitors to your site can also contribute to your ExamBank to which you derive revenues as though you did all the contribution.

ExamConnect ExamPlay

As stated above, students can practice for their exams from within your website or application once your are connected. This lends to your portal a high utility value. If you represent a school, parents will surely want to send their wards to your schoolon the strength of that attraction. In addition you enjoy a 30% commission of all Acads(as Acadar Credits are called) consumned on your site or application.

Note that you are responsible for all the Acads that will be utilized on your platform. So, you are required to preload your account and transfer to the users on your site on a per-user basis. A sample Acad Pad may be made available to you for easy Acad administration.

ExamConnect ExamPad

As stated above, you can let other users contribute questions on your behalf by having ExamPad wall in your site. All the questions added to ExamBank throught your site are deemed to have originated from you. As the questions are used in the ExamPlay, your accounts are credited based on the guideline specified under the ExamPad section.

ExamConnect Pro

Professionals and institutions who want to deploy their own home-grown question bank for in-house test administration can benefit from the Acadar world-class test engine. This is made possible through ExamConnect Pro. Here you add questions to the exam bank, but the questions are marked as private. This means that they are not available for use outside your organization's website or application. In addition, tools for user accreditation and aunthentication are provided.

This is designed for institutions and organizations who may want to automate their test administration and exam leveraging on our robust platform. This service is available for a periodic rental fee.
