Exam Play

Exam Play is where you prepare for all your exams. You select the exam you are preparing for and enter the mode of play.

Selecting Exams

To enter the exam hall or Practice ground, you are required to make a selection of the exam you aim for. On choosing the exam, a drop-down comes up for you to select the course or area of practice.

In most exams, this may be one of the subject area tested in the chosen exam. However, there are some exams that the course may refer to the exam unit in under a general category.
An example is the category for Cisco exams under which you will now get actual exams.

Selecting the Mode

There are two possible modes of preparing for your exams.We have the Practice Ground where questions are served to you one at a time. There, a question is thrown at you. Once you have made your choice, the result and explanation immediately follows. Then another question comes. The advantage of this is that you can soak in various questions at your pace.

Another mode is the Exam Hall. In this mode, you enter the exam hall after selecting the exam and test area. A full set of exam questions will be presented to you. However, unlike in the Practice Ground, questions come to you one at a time but you will now see the results of your choices until the total set of exams are exhausted.

The number of questions in one set is usually set by you in your exam settings. The default number is 20 questions per set. A set is over when you exhaust the total number questions or the allotted time. After that the summary of your performance is presented to you. You can then proceed to view the detailed explanations of the choices you made, memory hints, and the suggested areas of weakness.

Timing

In both practice modes, you race against time. Each question is available for you within an allotted time at the expiration of which the next question is shown.(or ,as is the case in Practice Ground, the explanations and marks are shown.)

Billing and Credits

To enjoy the resources of ExamPlay, you are required to have enough Credits in your Exam Account. As you practice, Credits are deducted from account. When your credits are exhausted, you may need to refill your accounts. Your outstanding balance is displayed to on you practice wall.

To refill your accounts, you may have to purchase Acads(as Acadar Credits are called) from Acadar Credit Department or from accredited resellers. Acads are only available in Prepaid denominations which you can procure through direct bank deposits, wire transfers, or credit cards.

One Acad is about 1.6 cents(US) though the exchange rate may be change without prejudice to this quotation. The current exchange rates are always displayed on the Acads Dashboard. The number of Acads deductible per question may vary from exam to exam.
